Job Summary:

Leads the delivery of application services for multiple business lines. Connects the business organizations with the IT organization. Ensures that IT services are aligned effectively with the business needs and objectives, the overall enterprise strategy, and the organization's mission and vision.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business administration, or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Master's Degree: Preferred Five years' systems installation, application analysis, and/or systems maintenance experience: Preferred One year of leadership experience: Preferred Five years' experience in a healthcare setting: Preferred Essential Functions:

Leads the delivery of application services for multiple business lines, in collaboration with a partner IT organization. Builds and maintains relationships with business stakeholders and the partner organization. Practices business relationship management to evolve culture, build partnerships and drive value. Acts as a leader in driving collaborative processes with senior leadership, functional business leaders and third-party partners that would result in the development of goals, objectives and operational plans. Acts as liaison and advocate between business leadership, the IT teams and contracted vendor partners. Handles conflicts, escalations and negotiations. Identifies opportunities to improve services and products and helps develop and maintain roadmaps for the solutions in the designated business lines within the broad context of the enterprise strategic plan. Participates in and helps shape the demand management and governance processes for the designated solutions. Provides for quality assurance monitoring of all projects within the assigned business lines, ensuring correction of any deficiencies in the project delivery and ensures delivery on time and on budget. Participates in initiatives to support change management within the designated business lines. Reviews and approves procedural guidelines in areas such as documentation standards, coding standards, change management documentation, general systems design and security. Reviews and makes recommendations for performance measures to quantify/qualify benefits including target metrics, tools and measurement timing. Participates in regular service reviews and reports to senior management regarding performance of service against agreed targets. Ensures compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Upholds the Adventist Health culture and heritage with the partner organization. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
