Equity Or Senior Equity Analyst
Our Chicago office is seeking an Equity or Senior Equity Analyst to join our Public Real Estate Securities team. We're looking for a highly analytical, intellectually curious self-starter with strong experience in publicly traded securities and real estate. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and brings both rigor and insight into investment decision-making. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing well-supported investment recommendations for companies within your coverage universe Building deep industry expertise across assigned property sectors Conducting detailed company, financial, and valuation analysis of publicly traded real estate companies and broader property markets Running, enhancing, and maintaining proprietary screening models and valuation tools Performing channel checks by cultivating private market relationships and leveraging alternative data sources Evaluating senior management teams through direct meetings and quantitative assessments and presenting this information to the senior portfolio managers Writing and presenting clear, concise research reports for internal and external audiences Qualifications: 3-5+ years of relevant experience within public traded real estate securities We are open to candidates at both the Equity Analyst and Senior Equity Analyst levels. The selected level will be determined based on the candidate's experience, background, and qualifications Demonstrates strong, independent decision-making skills, exercising sound judgment in complex and time-sensitive situations Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field Proficiency in Excel and Word Exceptional communication skills, including strong writing capabilities Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical abilities with a high degree of diligence and accuracy Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels Job Location and Travel: This position is based in our Chicago office.
