A day in the life. As our Client Specialist on the Surety team, you'll support surety clients by assisting with their bonding needs through accurate processing of new and renewal surety bonds and related documentation. Additionally, you'll assist in identifying client needs, supports the invoicing and billing process, and escalates issues appropriately to ensure timely and effective resolutions. Finally, you will contribute to agency goals by supporting retention, renewals and sales initiatives and fostering a positive team environment. Servicing Clients: Deliver professional customer service for new and renewal business Proactively assess the client's program and identify gaps for additional or alternate coverage based on client needs Prepare bid bonds, final bonds and miscellaneous bonds and required correspondence. Accurately prepare and process new and renewal surety bonds, endorsements and related documents. Deliver bonds and related documents to clients promptly. Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding bond status, documentation and billing. Assist in gathering necessary client information for bond submissions and renewals. Monitor bond expiration dates and assist in the renewal follow-up processes to include the notification to clients of upcoming renewals and documentation deadlines. Enter and update client and bond information accurately in the agency management system. Support invoicing processes by preparing invoices and verifying billing data. Carrier Relationships: Participate in training sessions and review industry bulletins to stay current on surety products, rates and regulatory changes. Work with experienced team members to understand carrier preferences and underwriting guidelines. Our future colleague. We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: Experience in the insurance industry Bachelors in business, finance, risk management, communication, or equivalent degree Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that instills good working relationships with customers, clients, co-workers and management Computer proficiency with system of records, web-based tools, and Microsoft programs Ability to prioritize and organize time efficiently to ensure the meeting or exceeding deadlines These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply: Property & Casualty License required within 3 months of hire We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
