
Senior Director, Financial Information Systems

Senior Director of Finance Information Systems is responsible for the strategic vision, implementation, and operational management of an organization’s financial technology ecosystem. This position bridges the gap between Finance and IT, ensuring that software systems such as ERPs, consolidation tools, and BI platforms accurately support real-time data for critical executive decision‑making and regulatory compliance.
Base salary range is $230,000 - $280,000 a year. The base salary offer will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, skills, qualifications, and location. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT owner and own the full lifecycle of Credo’s finance application systems including NetSuite ERP, adjacent Accounting and business operation platforms.
- Oversee the design, configuration, integration, and enhancement of these application systems to support evolving financial, operational, and sales performance needs.
- Ensure these systems converge toward a coherent, secure, scalable application backbone that reduces complexity and supports Credo’s rate and certification goals.
- Create a roadmap that links system evolution to Credo’s operating and financial plans.
- Stay ahead of technology trends and vendor capabilities to drive innovation. Develop, share, curate points of view on process simplification and scale to inform future roadmaps.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives by leveraging technology to streamline business processes, enhance data analytics, and improve customer engagement.
Partner to Finance, Supply Chain and Sales/marketing
- Serve as the primary technology partner for Credo’s corporate finance and operation functions.
- Build and maintain strong trusted relationships with Finance and Operation leadership teams and collaborate closely with Senior business leaders to understand strategic goals, translate them into application initiatives, and deliver measurable results.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities transparently to both business and IT leadership.
Operations & Governance
- Stabilize and mature core systems, eliminating papercuts, manual workarounds, and fragmented workflows.
- Ensure high system availability, data accuracy, and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance IT applications team, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities across cross‑functional project teams to build transformation capabilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 15+ years in leading enterprise applications or business systems in a complex, fast‑growing environment.
- Expert functional knowledge and experience in all applications and services development, implementation, and support (architecture, requirements, developments, system design & configuration, integration, testing, data/information conversion & migration, and system support).
- Strong track record of partnering with organizations, including Finance, Sales Operations and Supply Chain Operations.
- Demonstrated success engaging with senior executives to influence strategic technology decisions.
- International management experience, including working with partners in various international geographies and jurisdictions, is a plus.

- Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on application management capabilities, ability to apply contextual information, maintain objectivity, and manage conflict professionally and to impactful beneficial results.
- Deep understanding of enterprise finance systems and emerging technologies, including AI/automation tools that drive productivity and insight.
- Proactive mindset, strong sense of urgency, driven to action in identifying problems to ensuring successful resolution and root cause analysis for continuous improvement.
