Our client is a seed-stage AI company building fully autonomous agents capable of ideating, building, and taking products to market — without human founders. Backed by leading venture firms and the founders of several notable technology companies, the company has spent its early period in focused R&D and is now entering its next chapter: scaling its platform in the real world. The founding team brings deep roots in growth, with a track record of building GTM programs for some of the most recognized names in B2B SaaS.

This is the company's first GTM hire. The Head of Growth will design, build, and scale the go-to-market engine from the ground up — working directly with the founders to make core growth decisions and establish the channels the company scales on. The platform runs multiple AI-launched products in parallel, so this person will need to operate across a broad surface area simultaneously, moving fast and iterating with structure. This role reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Own the activation and conversion engine — design and execute the growth strategy that moves prospects to paying customers across multiple simultaneous product launches
  • Build and launch lifecycle campaigns across email, paid social, and organic channels — write copy, set up segments, QA flows, and ship quickly
  • Run a structured experimentation program to test unconventional GTM ideas, scale what works, and kill what doesn't
  • Own the full marketing stack — attribution, dashboards, SEO, automation, and paid social tools including X and Reddit
  • Develop and execute AI-native distribution strategies, including answer engine optimization and LLM visibility, to cut through a crowded market
  • Set up and maintain reporting infrastructure to measure performance across every channel and maintain a clear bias toward iteration
  • Partner directly with the founders on GTM strategy, category positioning, and growth investment decisions
  • Build out the growth function over time, hiring in your own image as the company scales

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience marketing frontier products at early-stage companies — 0→1 or 1→10 experience is required
  • Background in AI or ML product marketing is strongly preferred
  • Hands‑on paid social experience specifically on X and Reddit — not just Meta or Google
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI‑native distribution: answer engine optimization and LLM visibility
  • Proven ability to build and execute full‑funnel growth programs across paid and organic channels
  • Experience marketing to both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Strong storytelling, positioning, and copywriting skills — you write the copy yourself
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly without waiting for perfect information
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS or B2C consumer marketing only, without 0→1 stage experience, is not a fit for this role
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, SEO tools, and analytics platforms is a plus

Base salary: $150,000 – $190,000. Meaningful equity participation (~1%). The company offers a competitive benefits package. This role is currently remote with 1–2 days in‑office in San Francisco expected beginning May/June 2026.
