Director Credit Risk, Structured Finance

JCW is partnered with an international bank who are seeking an experienced and senior credit risk director.
We’re seeking a Credit Risk Officer to join a dynamic Risk Management team, focused on assessing and managing exposures within credit markets, structured credit/fund finance, and securitized products. This role is ideal for a high-performing credit professional with experience at a major commercial or investment bank.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and approve counterparty and transaction-level credit exposures across structured credit, ABS/MBS, and syndicated lending portfolios.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on deal structures, collateral pools, and counterparties to identify key risk drivers.
- Partner with trading, structuring, and capital markets teams to ensure transactions align with the firm’s risk appetite.
- Prepare and present credit recommendations to senior management and risk committees.
- Maintain awareness of market, regulatory, and macroeconomic developments impacting credit risk.
Qualifications:
- 7–12 years’ experience in credit risk, structured finance, or securitization (preferably within a global bank).
- Strong understanding of credit markets, deal documentation, and risk frameworks (SR 11-7, Basel).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
