Your Role:
The Lead, Real-World Data Strategy plays a key role in transforming opportunities within life sciences through real-world data (RWD). This position is responsible for translating client needs into clear, actionable RWD scopes that elevate deal quality, effectiveness, and long-lasting client relationships. Positioned at the intersection of commercial strategy, data feasibility, and communication, this role ensures that our offered solutions are distinctive, credible, and aligned with our service delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Oversee detailed scoping for RWD opportunities, engaging clients from initial discussions to final proposal alignment.
Collaborate with Commercial teams to devise strategic deals, pricing models, and packaging to achieve growth objectives.
Lead assessments of RWD assets, including claims data, EMR, lab results, clinical notes, and linked datasets to explore new pathways and craft impactful narratives.
Analyze data coverage, refresh cycles, linkage opportunities, and limitations to define practical scope boundaries.
Transform ambiguous client inquiries into specific use cases and narratives that resonate with various stakeholders across Medical Affairs, HEOR, Clinical, and Commercial sectors.
Act as a consultant for clients during pre-sales discussions, assisting in refining project objectives and designing tailored solutions.
Establish and communicate clear assumptions, guidelines, and scope definitions to mitigate delivery risks.
Utilize SQL skills to explore data, validate assumptions, and inform analyses.
Provide analytical direction to internal teams to ensure deliverables meet intended objectives.
Create standardized scoping frameworks, templates, and narratives to enhance efficiency and quality in proposals.
Design scalable multi-source data solutions tailored to diverse stakeholder needs.
Facilitate collaboration between Strategy, Delivery, Analytics, Product, and Data Science teams throughout the project shaping process.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in life sciences consulting, research, or analytics.
Familiarity with RWD modalities, including open/closed claims, EMR data, lab results, and linked datasets.
Proficiency in SQL for data exploration and analysis validation.
Experience in shaping or supporting RWD, HEOR, analytics, or evidence-generation initiatives.
Adept at evaluating data strengths and limitations and translating findings into scope decisions.
Strong analytical skills along with exceptional communication abilities.
Comfort in navigating ambiguity and guiding clients in clarifying project goals.
Ability to collaborate across functions without direct project management responsibility.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in crafting client-ready documents and proposals.

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000. Salary offers are determined based on various factors including skills, experience, education, and other market variables. In addition to base salary, successful candidates may qualify for a discretionary bonus.
