About Our Client Our client is a reputable and growing general contractor specializing in
ground‑up multi‑family residential construction
throughout Chicago and the surrounding urban neighborhoods. They have a long track record of delivering high‑quality:

Job Description
Oversee daily field operations for
ground‑up multi‑family construction projects
Manage subcontractors, site logistics, and construction sequencing
Ensure work is completed according to plans, specs, building codes, and quality standards
Maintain project schedules and coordinate closely with the Project Manager
Conduct daily and weekly site meetings with trades and supervisors
Enforce site safety programs, conduct inspections, and uphold OSHA standards
Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and field changes
Track progress, document work, and support project reporting
Coordinate inspections with city officials and third‑party engineers
Drive successful punch‑list, closeout, and turnover to ownership

The Successful Applicant
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
Strong background in
multi‑family residential construction
required
Experience with podium, wood‑frame, and/or mixed‑use developments preferred
Solid understanding of structural, MEP, and finish coordination
Proven ability to manage fast‑paced, high‑density residential projects
Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor‑management skills
Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and technical construction documents
OSHA certification preferred
