Summary The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) leads Contexture’s business development and growth activities including business and market growth, revenue generation and market retention processes. In this leadership position, the CGO will oversee the business development, engagement, government affairs and program oversight functions of the organization, focused on retaining and increasing revenue, retaining and expanding customer relationships, and building the state, regional and national reputation of the company. Important aspects to this role include developing and executing strategies that enhance stakeholder and participant engagement, and driving organizational sustainability and growth through intentional community, customer, government, and partner involvement.
The CGO will also drive business development and growth through building strategic industry and stakeholder relationships, conducting and analyzing healthcare industry data to inform market plans, identifying and evaluating market expansion and service opportunities, evaluating participant satisfaction, identifying and promoting participant best practices related to Contexture’s solutions, and developing and executing participant engagement and retention plans, strategies and tactics.
This position is based in Phoenix Arizona; Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. Our strategic flexibility allows for local work from home opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partnering with the executive team and the Chief Strategy Officer to execute the current strategic plan and support the development of long-term strategic plan, as it relates to the functions of the department.
Leading the business development and engagement teams within the organization and ensuring they are focused on target achievement through established target-based growth and revenue goals.
Leading the government affairs teams within the organization, including oversight of key programs and initiatives such as social determinants of health referrals systems and advance directives registries.
Managing the engagement lifecycle to drive business growth across all customer segments, focusing on creating value-driven business opportunities.
Building teams committed to continuing the culture of participant and partner engagement, aligned with targeted business growth.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key participants and community partners, including customers, members, partners, and community leaders
Designing programs that increase stakeholder participation and satisfaction and overseeing execution of participant engagement strategies; includes coordinating advisory councils and other participant and stakeholder engagement activities that are within the purview of the department, including establishing strategic relationship management plans for Contexture stakeholders and healthcare community partners.
Monitoring the growth and revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting team activities as necessary to create sustainable growth and target achievement.
Identifying new opportunities for business growth based on customer feedback gathered via the engagement and government affairs teams and transmitting related insights and ideas to the appropriate internal leaders to support future solution strategy and market development.
Producing executive reports and presentations reflecting the results of the various team activities, linking together with available internal business intelligence and the collective impact of these analyses on the organization.
Collaborating with the executive team to create business models that will facilitate revenue goals and achievement.
Identifying and resolving performance issues across the engagement, government affairs and program functions that will inhibit business growth.
Collaborating with senior leadership across the organization to inform product management lifecycle activities.
Provides daily supervision and management of assigned staff, maintain allocated staffing levels including leading recruitment efforts, training, and creating onboarding plans for new or transferred employees.
Preparing and communicating the department’s annual budget, tracks and reports performance against the budget.
Preparing and communicating the department’s annual goals, tracks and reports performance against the goals.
Performing other related duties as assigned.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Project, and Visio preferred.
Understanding of website development and maintenance.
Understanding of social media as business marketing tools.
Understanding of market analysis tools, techniques, and data sources.
Education/Experience
Minimum of 10+ years of diverse leadership experience in healthcare, healthcare information technology or health information exchange environments required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management, Management, Business Administration, or related area.
Master’s Degree in a related area preferred.

The position may require occasional availability for after-hours work, outside of regularly scheduled hours.
