Audio Video Sales Engineer Job at Pinnacle Group in Glendale

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Audio Visual Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, estimating, and specifying AV solutions for commercial environments. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to develop accurate proposals and cost estimates, ensuring projects meet client requirements and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for AV projects, including labor, equipment, and installation costs.
• Interpret client needs, drawings, and specifications to create accurate and competitive solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop system designs and ensure technical accuracy.
• Evaluate and recommend AV equipment, systems, and integration approaches.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AV technology trends, products, and pricing.

Qualifications

• Required Experience:
• Proficiency with Extron, Crestron, and Biamp systems.
• Experience working in AV system design and estimating.
• Preferred Certifications:
• CTS and CTS-I certifications.
• Additional Skills:
• Experience with D-Tools (or similar estimation/design software) strongly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of audio, video, and control systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
