Full Time Shift:

Monday-Friday 3:00am-11:30am

Pay:

$19.00 - $24.00 based on experience, with mileage reimbursement

Tasks And Responsibilities

Drive vehicle to client facilities, typically nursing homes, as directed by company dispatcher.

Unload phlebotomy tray and take to patient’s bedside to collect samples ordered by physician.

Accurately identify patients before collecting specimen(s).

Accurately collect, label, process, and deliver specimens obtained from patients.

Reload equipment and all necessary specimens to vehicle for prompt delivery.

Regularly communicate with dispatcher to report status and location.

Strict adherence to Universal Precautions in controlling blood‑borne pathogens and infectious disease exposures.

Maintain required certifications, health requirements, and operational requirements.

Keep work area clean and follow all required safety precautions at all times.

Report any unsafe conditions, complaints, problems encountered, low stock or out‑of‑stock situations, and any expired supplies.

Report to work promptly, properly groomed, and wear proper identification at all times when visiting a facility.

Accurately maintain time records of hours worked and deliver to company as directed; manage assigned shift to include meal breaks.

Follow all specimen preservation, patient preparation, and specimen management processes and procedures as written without personal deviation.

Use only approved current documents and make changes to records ONLY per approved instructions.

Create all required records as per instructions.

Be available on‑call evenings and weekends; irregular unscheduled overtime as needed based on company workload or absenteeism.
