
Finance Manager (Real Estate)

Position We are currently seeking a candidate to fill the position of Finance Manager in our Lafayette office. The Finance Manager is responsible for the financial health and strategic financial planning of the real estate portfolio. This role involves working closely with property accounting, driving profitability through analysis, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assets and investment funds.
Oversee financial reporting to lenders, investors, and capital partners, and serve as the main point of contact for lender and capital partner communications.
Draft periodic and ad hoc communications with investors and lenders on ongoing property performance and capital events.
Develop and direct the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow projections, and long‑term financial models for properties and investment funds.
Develop, maintain, analyze, and present pro forma/financial models for real estate asset management.
Analyze property‑level performance, including tenant occupancy, rent levels, monthly revenues, expenses, and overall Net Operating Income to maximize property values and investment returns.
Collaborate with senior management on investment, divestment, and financing strategies.
Support business development activities including preparation of investment presentations and nurturing existing sponsor/partnership relationships.
Manage appraisal, third‑party audit, property tax, business tax, and entity management processes.
Prerequisites
Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, accounting, economics, or related.
5+ years of related experience in real estate and/or property management.
Strong financial modeling experience and a working knowledge of accounting principles.
Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Must be proficient with Excel, Yardi experience a plus.
