Functional Consultant
for a
Contract
with a client in
Raritan, NJ . The ideal candidate will lead complex data ingestion pipelines while coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver compliant, timely outcomes.
Rate Range:
$41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Functional Consultant Job Responsibilities
Own and drive the ERP Data Analytics delivery scope across assigned releases, managing execution, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Design and oversee SAP S/4HANA data integrations into enterprise data platforms such as Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Teradata, and SAP Datasphere.
Lead end‑to‑end ERP data ingestion processes—from intake and development through deployment, hypercare, and steady‑state operations.
Coordinate closely with data platform teams, application teams, and ecosystem partners to manage cutover planning, release readiness, and compliant delivery.
Support agile sprint execution including backlog refinement, KPI‑based delivery health reporting, and continuous process improvement.
Ensure robust testing, validation, risk identification, and mitigation planning while maintaining SDLC, documentation, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in ERP data engineering, data analytics, or enterprise data integration roles.
Hands‑on expertise with SAP S/4HANA data models, ERP data extraction, and cloud data engineering (Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Teradata).
Proven ability to design and deliver end‑to‑end data ingestion pipelines, ensuring testing, validation, risk mitigation, and SDLC compliance.
Pay Details:
$41.00 to $56.00 per hour
