Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Independent Motor Vehicle Appraiser. The individual will be responsible for evaluating vehicle damage, preparing accurate and thorough repair estimates, and managing all aspects of the claims process. Tasks include assessing vehicles for damage, consulting with insurance professionals and repair facilities, and determining repair costs. The appraiser will use technology-driven tools and workflows to ensure efficiency and high-quality results while maintaining a strong customer focus.
Qualifications
Knowledge of vehicle repair processes, damage evaluation, and cost estimation
Proficiency in appraisal software and reporting tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer service and collaboration with stakeholders
Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage multiple claims
Familiarity with insurance claims processes and regulations
Ability to work independently in a remote environmentProfessional certifications, such as I-CAR or ASE, are a plus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Current SC and/or NC Motor Vehicle Damage Appraiser License
