Responsibilities
Job Description
Manage a portfolio of diverse commercial accounts.
Handle day-to-day inquiries, endorsements, claims follow-up, and other service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Identify and evaluate clients' needs to recommend appropriate insurance solutions, ensuring coverage is comprehensive and compliant.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and business partners.
Provide technical expertise to clients and internal colleagues, explaining policy terms, coverages, and exclusions effectively.
Assist with marketing new and renewal business by preparing accurate submissions and negotiating terms with underwriters.
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines, staying informed of industry trends and market changes.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and systems to optimize workflows.
Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should have:
A minimum of 5 years of experience handling commercial lines accounts
A valid and active 2-20 license.
Proficiency with insurance agency management systems
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and carrier relationships.
A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
A commitment to continuous learning and development, keeping up with emerging industry trends.
