Maggy London is a leading designer and manufacturer in the dress industry, celebrated for our aesthetic versatility and commitment to quality. With six seasonal collections annually, our design team moves at the intersection of creativity and commerce. We are looking for a driven, forward-thinking Associate Designer to help elevate our collections to the next level.
Position Overview The Associate Designer will play a central role in our design process, working closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to bring seasonal collections to life. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for a design professional who combines creative vision with exceptional organizational skills and a genuine enthusiasm for technology and innovation. The ideal candidate brings 3‑5 years of experience in fashion design, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to contribute meaningfully from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage design documentation across all stages of development - including sketches, tech packs, style boards, and seasonal records - with impeccable accuracy
Own and maintain our Airtable design database, ensuring all development milestones, style information, and progress updates are current and complete
Create polished design renderings for Maggy London mainline and private label projects
Actively participate in print selection meetings and manage purchase records with precision
Organize and maintain seasonal fabric, trim, and style binders; maintain color records and update seasonal color cards
Attend and document design meetings, proactively tracking action items and follow‑through
Leverage AI tools and emerging design technologies to streamline workflows, enhance creative exploration, and improve team productivity
Identify process improvements and champion smarter, more efficient ways of working across the design function
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience in fashion design, ideally within the dress or women's contemporary market
Deep knowledge of fabric, garment construction, and fit - with a strong ability to translate design vision into technically sound specs
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; experience with airtable a plus
High fluency in digital tools and systems - you navigate new platforms quickly and embrace technology as a creative and operational asset
Hands‑on experience with or genuine curiosity about AI‑powered design tools, with a proactive approach to staying ahead of industry developments
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail - you bring structure and clarity to complex, fast‑moving projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate across teams
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
