Assistant Vice President Trading & Portfolio Management
A global investment management firm with strong ties to both U.S. and international markets is seeking a proactive and motivated Assistant Vice President to support trading, portfolio management, and fund analysis activities. This role provides hands-on experience in managing and executing investment strategies across multiple funds, including leveraged index and Latin American advised funds. Key Responsibilities Support portfolio management and trading operations under the direction of senior managers. Analyze cash flows, implement model portfolio updates, and execute trades. Monitor advisor model portfolios, analyze performance, and prepare client reports. Communicate regularly with advisors and clients regarding fund performance and activities. Conduct fund due diligence and research new investment products. Review daily trade confirmations and assist with ad-hoc projects. Requirements Bachelor's degree required. Experience in trading or fund operations preferred. Strong MS Office skills; VBA knowledge a plus. Series 3 license and/or CFA preferred. Business or native-level proficiency in English and Japanese is strongly preferred. Self-motivated professional with excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
