Job Title: Document Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Document Specialist to transition paper-based training records into digital documentation while maintaining an organized filing and archival system. This role involves creating, issuing, or verifying logbooks to support routine quality systems.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the quality and compliance manager around the facility.
Maintain organized records and track the status of all assigned training documents.
Communicate findings of any mistakes in documents or batches to the quality manager.
Ensure all work adheres to ALCOA+ standards.
Support the creation, issuance, or verification of logbooks, ensuring proper formatting, controlled numbering, and compliance with SOPs.
Assist the quality department with additional tasks as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, quality, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with MasterControl, GMP, pharmaceutical, animal health, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
Experience with controlled documents or data entry is preferred.
Work Environment Work throughout the facility in the lab, on the floor, and within the quality department. The desk is located in the quality department, which may be dusty at times. This role offers a chance to be part of a close-knit team in a rapidly growing company, providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
