Job Description The People team is looking for a Senior Reward Partner to deploy the total reward strategy for our engineering teams worldwide and to act as the main point of contact for reward matters in the Americas.
You will be the architect of a reward framework that enables us to attract and retain the world’s best engineers in a highly competitive global market. You will act as the primary strategic partner to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Engineering Leadership, ensuring our "Total Reward" narrative is as innovative as the products we build.
Your mission Your goal is to build agile, data‑driven reward frameworks tailored to the unique challenges of a global engineering organization, across different jurisdictions.
Act as the global subject matter expert for all reward related matters, specializing in Engineering roles across our global hubs.
Serve as the SME for all Americas reward matters. This includes ensuring our reward programs are in compliance with federal and state regulations, and advising and supporting Americas regional implications for global reward programs.
Lead benchmarking exercises. Work in conjunction with the Talent Attraction team to build a robust intel hub and develop creative solutions to reliably price roles.
Design, plan, and implement compelling total reward initiatives, including base pay, incentives, stock and benefits (working together with the benefits, stock teams) that create a competitive advantage for Wise to attract, retain and motivate talent worldwide.
Proactively lead pay equity audits and ensure our reward practices align with evolving transparency regulations globally.
Pull narratives from complex datasets (G‑Sheets, Workday, Visier, others) to present actionable recommendations to technical leads, helping them make informed decisions during annual budget and salary review cycles and keeping track of potential retention/attraction hot spots.
Partner with stakeholders, Global reward partners, lead and development leads to deliver the annual budget exercise and manage salary review cycles for Engineering.
Take complex reward concepts and make them simple, educating leads and employees on our salary review guidelines, the details of our stock program and benefits, as well as the value of our total reward package to drive optimal decision making and engagement.
Deliver and contribute to high impact global reward projects as we continue to build our global reward frameworks, scaling in line with the growth of Wise.
Monitor competitive reward trends, evaluate options and make recommendations as appropriate to help ensure that Wise policies reflect best practice.

Well‑versed in the US regulatory landscape (FLSA exemptions, state‑specific transparency laws) and knowledgeable about other countries in the Americas.
Natural collaborator who thrives on building strong partnerships with Finance, Talent Acquisition, People Partners, the wider People team, and Engineering leadership.
Broad knowledge across reward topics—especially compensation benchmarking using external data sources and survey tools, but also benefits, stock, and other reward areas.
Experience in a fast‑paced environment that requires dealing with ambiguity and shifting priorities, and designing solutions that consider different legislative jurisdictions and cultural norms.
Proven track record of leading reward projects to completion, scoping problems, creating delivery plans and executing results.
Exceptional communicator, skilled at simplifying complex concepts for leaders and employees.
Resilient, able to navigate gray areas without losing momentum and flexible enough to pivot when necessary.
Data‑led, capable of pulling narratives from large datasets (e.g., G‑Sheets) and presenting clear recommendations.
