Create an exciting and memorable experience for residents and visitors, and members of the Peachtree Corners community by stepping into the role of Percy, our new Peachtree Corners mascot!
As Percy, you will have the opportunity to represent Peachtree Corners in a fun and engaging way and interact with audiences of all ages.
Responsibilities
Assume the personality of the city mascot through exaggerated movement, emotions, energy, and enthusiasm. Always stay in character when in view of the public. Perform dance routines and movements and use crowd interactions to entertain and engage with residents and visitors. Interact with members of the public and pose for photos while in character. Operation of a T-shirt cannon. Be on time and prepared for all engagements. Must be able to perform in a mascot costume for extended periods of time. Excellent endurance, physical and emotional stamina required. Strong non-verbal communication skills. Able to convey excitement and a range of emotions through body language, gestures and exaggerated movements. Friendly and engaging personality, ability to maintain positive interactions with residents and visitors and always represent Peachtree Corners professionally. Comfortable performing in costume with limited visibility and range of motion. Able to adapt to different performance environments and situations. Must receive training on the operation, use, and safety of the City-owned T-shirt Cannon Must keep personal identity a secret while on assignment as the personality. In consideration for the Services to be performed by the Contractor, the Client agrees to pay the Contractor
$50/Hour , bi-weekly following the submission of a payment request from the Contractor for services rendered. Insurance
The Client agrees to bear all responsibility for the actions related to themselves and their employees or personnel under this Agreement. In addition, the Client agrees to add the Contractor as an Additional Insured on the Client’s General Liability Policy.
