
Loss Mitigation Intake QC Specialist

The Loss Mitigation Intake QC Specialist primary responsibilities consist of reviewing the accuracy of work performed by the Loss Mitigation Intake Processors including the review of initial acknowledgements and loans being removed from Loss Mitigation for missing documentation. Incumbent will review borrower documentation to determine files were considered complete/incomplete correctly, ensure required tasking is performed, that loans are documented correctly and letters sent to borrowers are complete and accurate. Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations. The approved Target Pay Range for this position is $26.00 to -$30.00.
What you’ll do:
Review files with initial acknowledgments. Check files for completeness and accuracy. Ensure files are structured and saved based on company policies and procedures. Ensure intake tasks are completed correctly. Track errors and/or issues to identify trends and training opportunities. Provide error reporting to management to assess potential process changes to streamline and improve results. Provide training to incoming new hires. Serve as a leader to peers and assist supervisor and manager on special projects. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. What you’ll need:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience. A minimum 1 year of experience processing residential mortgage loans, loss mitigation or related files. Consistently performs at an exceptional level in quality and quantity of work completed. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite at intermediate level preferred. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. SME level knowledge related to the Intake processes and procedures. Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule. Ability to work in a paperless, automated and fast paced environment while handling a high volume pipeline. Ability to work effectively as a team player. Ability to multi-task to complete various tasks as required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy. Our Company:
