Job Description
Well-established San Fernando Valley firm seeks an exceptional paralegal to assist our Franchise Law Practice Group. Ideal candidate is organized, with 1 to 3 years paralegal experience, able to work with multiple busy lawyers in an active, highly service-oriented practice. At our firm, you will nurture client relationships and conduct research to support attorneys’ matters.
Responsibilities
Assist with annual updates and preparation of Franchise Disclosure Documents.
Accurately and efficiently process and track franchise regulatory filings.
Provide support to attorneys on an array of other transactions and projects.
Job Requirements
1 to 3 years of substantive and current corporate, intellectual property, or other transactional paralegal experience.
Creditable paralegal credential in California is preferred but not required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel in particular), Adobe, and Outlook.
Strong contract drafting experience.
Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize responsibilities, and multitask across multiple projects.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Franchise experience is a plus, but not required. Other types of paralegal experience will be considered.
