Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic

Hedge Fund

Sales Manager

to join our team to help articulate the value and benefits of Hazeltree.

The candidate will work closely with the Solutions Consulting Team to run in-depth product demonstrations and design solutions for prospective clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, educating end-users and driving home the value of Hazeltree Treasury Technology. As a key client champion, you will act as a trusted adviser to investment firms, helping them optimize financial performance and operations through our innovative platform.

Key Responsibilities

Developing a strong pipeline of potential hedge fund targets/clients

Running an end-to-end sales process with the support of the broader Hazeltree organization.

Helping to build the firm’s brand and increase brand awareness to generate quality leads.

Attending and participating at relevant industry events.

Developing and managing the intermediary and third‑party services provider network including prime broker consultancies.

Industry Background and Skills

Familiarity with prime brokerage firms, including their operational, trading, and reporting needs, to effectively position technology solutions.

Excellent understanding of the hedge fund sectors; including the regulatory environment and legal frameworks associated with the industry.

Experience in the buy side industry along with financial technology sales experience.

A self‑motivated individual who can demonstrate an ability to work in a demanding, fast‑paced environment.

Demonstrable success in public market sales role with a network of referral sources and industry contacts.

A positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to be commercial, show initiative and to use common sense and intuition– derived from your professional experience.

Treasury & Product Expertise

Develop a deep understanding of Hazeltree’s platform and the intricacies of treasury management in the investment management industry.

Ability to educate prospective clients on best practices and help them fully leverage our solution e.g. articulate and monetize ROI of Hazeltree’s Treasury Management products.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with internal teams (implementations, product, sales, support, etc.) to advocate for client needs and contribute to continuous solution improvements.

Provide insights and feedback that directly shape the evolution of our platform and services.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

4 - 5 years of experience in solutions consulting, treasury management, prime brokerage or investment banking.

Experience working with hedge funds or other alternative investment firms.

Experience and understanding of the financial markets, specifically Buy Side experience is highly desirable.

Understand the applications of ISIN’s and their meaning for investment identification

Proven ability to understand client requirements, articulate software features and benefits to create solutions for prospective clients.

Passion for building rapport and trust with new client relationships.

Tech‑Savvy:

Comfortable with SaaS platforms and eager to deepen knowledge of treasury technology.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and proactively manage multiple client accounts.

Organizational Excellence:

Highly organized, strong time management skills.
