Compensation: $55k – $65k Base | $70k – $150k+ On-Target Earnings (Base + Commission)

Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, our sophisticated boutique offers curated collections from unique designers, rare estate pieces, and one-of-a-kind bespoke creations. With our newly renovated, state-of-the-art in-house goldsmith shop, Mystique continues to deliver exceptional craftsmanship and a "classic" luxury style to a discerning, loyal clientele.
The Role We are seeking a sophisticated, high-energy sales and operations professional who understands that luxury jewelry is not a necessity, but a profound desire. This is a "everyone works together" boutique environment. The ideal candidate is as comfortable consulting on a custom diamond engagement ring as they are meticulously organizing the showroom or managing store opening protocols.
What We Are Looking For Refined Aesthetic: You possess a classic, distinguished style that resonates with our high-end clientele and reflects the Mystique brand.
The "Follow-Through" Mentality: You manage the relationship from the first hello to the final pick-up. You are organized, detail-oriented, and never let a repair or custom order slip through the cracks.
Master of Atmosphere: You understand the "theater" of fine jewelry from opening/closing protocols to ensuring cases are curated and spotless.
Tech-Savvy & Adaptable: Proficiency with The Edge software is a significant advantage. You are comfortable with modern POS systems and digital communication in a multitasking environment.
Key Responsibilities Consultative Sales: Build "enlightening" relationships with regular clients and new engagement seekers.
Custom Design Intake: Confidently discuss stones, settings, and customization options for one-of-a-kind pieces.
Operations & Leadership: Oversee daily store setup, manage inventory, and ensure a seamless, personalized shopping experience.
Relationship Management: Service repairs and maintain rigorous follow-up to exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications Proven experience in high-end sales (Fine Jewelry, Luxury Fashion, or Fine Art preferred).
Ability to work a 5-day schedule (for Alexandria roles).
A team-first attitude willing to "pitch in" on all aspects of boutique operations.
A natural ability to sell through education and adornment, making every piece feel special.
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or Diamond Council of America (DCA) Certification is a plus.
Commission: Competitive commission structure on personal sales and custom designs.
Earning Potential: Successful associates typically earn $70,000 – $100,000+ annually.
