The Customer Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for patients, helping answer billing and insurance questions, process payments, and ensure accurate account information. This role plays an important part in delivering a positive patient experience through clear communication, attention to detail, and compassionate support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as a friendly and knowledgeable first point of contact for patients, handling inbound and outbound calls to answer questions about balances, coverage, and billing

Update and maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information in our systems

Document call details clearly to ensure seamless follow-up and continuity of care

Verify insurance information and support claims submission

Process patient payments over the phone with accuracy and care

Educate patients on deductibles, co-pays, and other financial responsibilities in a clear, compassionate way

Deliver every interaction with professionalism, patience, and empathy

Support additional tasks as needed to help the team and organization succeed

Other duties as assigend

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Strong verbal communication and listening skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality

Patient-focused, professional, and courteous approach
