Sabel Systems is seeking a Summer Marketing Intern to support our marketing and communications efforts within the defense and national security sector. This 10‑week paid summer internship, with participation available between May 18, 2026, and September 11, 2026, is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field who want hands‑on experience supporting brand communications and marketing initiatives within a mission‑driven, highly technical environment.
This internship is designed for motivated students interested in learning how marketing operates within the government contracting (GovCon) and defense technology space while contributing to real‑world initiatives that support business growth and brand credibility.
Interns participate full‑time (40 hours per week) aligned to Eastern Time Zone business hours and work in a hybrid environment, supporting one to three days per week onsite at our Beavercreek, OH or Tysons, VA offices.
Work You’ll Do As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to support brand‑aligned communications, contribute to data‑informed campaign execution, and content development while developing an understanding of the importance of accuracy, discretion, and credibility in defense industry marketing.

Key Responsibilities Brand & Messaging Support
Learn and apply Sabel’s brand voice, messaging framework, and visual standards across marketing channels
Assist in translating complex or technical concepts into clear, consistent, and audience‑appropriate content
Support content development for internal and external communications, ensuring brand credibility and alignment
Campaign & Data Support
Assist with marketing campaign research, planning, and execution
Track and report on basic marketing performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, campaign results)
Produce and analyze social media campaign performance data, summarizing insights, trends, and recommendations for improvement
Social Media & Communications
Monitor social media channels and assist with drafting responses in alignment with brand and messaging guidelines
Support content scheduling, research, and audience analysis
Assist with responding to external inquiries following established communication protocols
Process & Effectiveness
Support the creation and refinement of internal rubrics and tools for evaluating marketing effectiveness
Assist with documenting best practices, workflows, and performance benchmarks
Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, clarity, and consistency across marketing efforts
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled undergraduate, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
Strong academic record, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Strong written communication skills with attention to detail and tone
Ability to analyze basic data and metrics and draw practical conclusions
Interest in the defense, government contracting, or national security space
Professional judgment, discretion, and appreciation for accuracy and compliance
Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Adobe Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
Exposure to defense or regulated environments and basic design experience
