Young & Champagne Electrical Sales (YCE Sales)
YCE Sales is seeking a motivated inside salesperson to support our agencies sales and marketing efforts for our manufacturer’s products. As an inside sales team member, you will be responsible for learning our overall business and supporting inside sales functions such as: quotations, managing pricing, marketing, answering customer questions, order entry, managing pricing announcements, ordering literature, running sales reports & supporting outside sales team. What You’ll Do Our Inside Sales role is key to the function and growth of our organization. Here’s what your day-to-day responsibilities will look like. However, we are constantly changing and require someone with a team player mentality who is always willing to help support your team overcome new challenges.
You will be the voice of our company.
You will develop meaningful relationships with our customers & manufacturers via phone and email to encourage trust and loyalty. We pride ourselves on being hyper responsive, accurate and fun to work with. While our outside sales team uncovers opportunities to sell our products, you will collaborate from the inside to secure the order.
You will be responsible to attend manufacturer trainings to learn about the product lines we represent.
You’ll be at the frontline of answering technical questions, responding to request for pricing and managing project quotations.
You will stay organized and on top of your work via emails, phone & Teams calls while you flag important items to follow up on or collaborate with the outside sales team to follow up.
You are an independent self-starter who has no problem multi-tasking between emails and Teams messages and phone calls.
You understand how to prioritize your email requests by level of urgency, time and opportunity size.
You’ll share your successes and best practices with the team to help support the teams’ sales efforts.
Key Qualifications
You have a charismatic personality and can effectively build relationships and effectively communicate in person, over the phone and via email.
You love sales and see yourself being happy in a sales position long-term.
You want to grow long term with a company and learn all aspects of the business. Good at juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment. Tech-savvy and able to navigate your way around Microsoft Office. If you know what Adobe is and how to use it, that’s a plus! Strong attention to detail. Memory like an elephant.
Your Education
Four-year college degree or equivalent experience Customer facing sales experience preferred
