
Escrow Assistant

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Escrow Assistant to support a busy escrow team in delivering smooth, accurate, and timely real estate transactions. This role contributes to both pre‑closing and post‑closing processes and requires strong communication, customer service, and administrative skills. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pre‑closing and post‑closing tasks
Provide administrative and transactional support to the Escrow Officer
Assist with document preparation, data input, balancing figures, disbursements, and money transfers
Maintain communication with clients, agents, lenders, and all transaction parties
Review contracts, commitments, and required documents in preparation for closing
Submit post‑closing packages to lenders for funding authorization
Ensure all parties receive accurate settlement statements prior to closing
Coordinate collection of information needed to finalize sales or refinances
Maintain transparent communication with team members and elevate issues when needed
Assist with electronic recordings with county offices
Support compliance, workflow accuracy, and internal process standards
Maintain a positive, solutions‑oriented attitude
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to understand escrow processes, state/local requirements, and real estate regulations
Familiarity with basic compliance guidelines (e.g., RESPA, TILA, and industry best practices)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with numbers, proration calculations, and transaction‑related math
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to shifting deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in an escrow or transaction‑processing role
