An established private equity real estate investment firm is seeking a high‑calibre Senior Associate / Associate Vice President to join its growing Asset Management function. You will influence portfolio strategy across multiple alternative residential and operational real estate sectors while working closely with senior leadership.

Description
Strong foundation in real estate finance, financial analysis, and accounting principles.
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field with strong academics.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to audit and reconcile financial models.
Minimum 5+ years of real estate or private equity experience.
Experience across acquisitions, financing, and dispositions strongly preferred.
Ability to navigate joint‑venture agreements, loan documents, and management contracts.
High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and comfort working in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment.
Willingness to travel (approximately 25%).
Profile
Oversee asset performance by reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual partner and property management reporting.
Deliver internal portfolio reviews and present insights to the investment leadership team.
Build and refine financial models to support hold/sell/refinance decisions and ad‑hoc analysis.
Maintain forward‑looking cash flow forecasts, distributions, and contribution schedules.
Partner with operating groups and joint‑venture stakeholders to ensure alignment with business plans.
Lead processes around refinancings, dispositions, and key transaction events.
Conduct ongoing market research to identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
Support pre‑acquisition due diligence and market analysis for new investments.
Independently manage quarterly valuation processes using multiple valuation methodologies.
