GHX is looking for a driven Account Manager to grow and support a defined territory in Stockton, CA and surrounding areas. This is a true relationship-based industrial sales role—owning your territory, building trust with customers, and becoming their go-to partner for hose and fitting solutions.

Essential Functions

Own and grow a defined sales territory, managing both existing customers and new prospects

Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding customer applications and solving real problems

Prospect for new business through cold calls, referrals, and face‑to‑face sales visits

Develop and execute a territory sales plan in partnership with leadership

Apply your hose and fittings expertise to accurately specify products and support customer orders

Ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business

Sell responsibly and profitably, meeting gross margin expectations

Use CRM and sales tools to plan your time, manage opportunities, and track territory performance

Be visible and responsive by communicating with customers in person, by phone, and via email

Experience, Education and Skills

HS Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

3+ years of industrial sales experience (hose & fittings experience strongly preferred)

Solid working knowledge of industrial hose, fittings, and related applications

A natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams

Strong organization and time-management skills in a fast‑paced, territory-based role

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems

Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the territory (occasional overnight travel)
