This is not a \"sit behind a desk and wait for the phone to ring\" kind of job. You are the engine of our growth. As a Sales Rep at Doctor Asphalt, you are the bridge between a client's problem (bad pavement) and our solution.

Your \"office\" is the open road and the properties you visit. You will spend your days hunting for new business, conducting site evaluations, and building genuine relationships in the community. You aren't just pushing asphalt; you are a consultant. You need to understand the technical side, knowing when a simple patch will do versus when a full resurface is needed and the financial side, helping clients navigate their budgets.

We need a Self-Starter who loves the thrill of the chase, a Relationship Builder who remembers clients' birthdays, and a Project Owner who ensures the Operations team has exactly what they need to win.

What You’ll Actually Do (Responsibilities)

Hit the Numbers: You aim for at least 10 prospect touches per day.

Be Proactive: You generate your own leads through cold calling, emails, texts, and \"door knocking\" local businesses.

Speed Matters: When a lead is assigned, you call immediately. You don't let opportunities sit cold.

2. Inspections & Proposals

Site Visits: You conduct thorough site inspections to assess pavement issues (potholes, cracks, drainage).

Tech Mastery: You will utilize our tech stack (OneCrew, SpotOnSite, HubSpot) to track every opportunity from \"Quote Requested\" to \"Closed Won.\"

Ops Handoff: You don't just toss a contract over the fence. You provide accurate site maps, mark the site yourself after the sale, and give Operations every detail they need to schedule and execute the job flawlessly.

3. Closing & Follow-Up

Creative Persistence: We hate boring emails. Send a selfie video explaining a quote. Text them. Send memes. Stop by their office with coffee. Do what it takes to get the \"Yes.\"

The Personal Touch: You write handwritten \"Thank You\" cards after sending proposals. You treat people like partners.

Vendor Management: For subcontracted work, you manage the bids and ensure signed agreements are in place before work begins.

You control your income. We offer a competitive base salary plus commission, giving you the stability you need with the upside you deserve.

Company Vehicle: A company car is provided, or we offer mileage reimbursement to keep you moving.

Ramp-Up Support: $2,500/month recoverable draw for your first 90 days.

Commission Structure:

7% on all in-house services (Gross Revenue).

10% on leads you generate yourself (Gross Revenue) — We pay more for self-starters.

25% on subcontracted work (Gross Margin).
