
Used Truck Sales Manager

Job Overview
Murphy‑Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. We have an opening for a Used Truck Sales Manager who will plan and direct the used truck marketing activities of the branch or branches assigned, and manage the used truck sales and maintenance personnel to meet company objectives.
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate all activities of the Used Truck Department to accomplish objectives and sales goals.
Develop a sales and marketing program to achieve specific sales and net profit targets.
Evaluate department performance against established targets and take appropriate action.
Control used truck inventory turns and gross profit, analyzing market potential for retail and wholesale.
Appraise used trucks for resale and reconditioning requirements.
Train sales personnel to ensure objectives are met and assist in selling efforts when needed.
Establish and maintain satisfactory relations with wholesalers, dealers, and auction companies.
Maintain understanding and acceptance within all other departments across the branch.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Performing the role while under the influence of marijuana or any other illegal drug may constitute a threat to health or safety, especially given the responsibilities that include operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring heavy equipment, machinery, motor vehicles, or handling hazardous materials and waste.

Knowledge of wholesale and retail markets.
Sales and management training.
Strong people skills.
Willingness to travel.
Strong work ethic and team orientation.
CDL preferred.
