Summary Maintains a professional and presentable Golf Shop. Provides support to the Player Assistants and department staff. Conducts all facets of reservation procedures for tee times; collects green fees and maintains cash drawer. Flexible to work shifts that may include weekends and tournaments.
Greets and communicates with guests in a friendly and professional manner
Answers the telephone and provides information on tee times and other golf course information
Conducts all facets of reservation procedures, sets tee times to include collecting green fees, processing credit card charges, refunds, and deposits using computerized system
Maintains accurate records and filing system
Assists Player Attendants and department staff by operating the tee sheet and POS system, makes deposits, shows the golf course facilities
Sells golf store items and explains golf products and services
Ensures shop is stocked of merchandise, monitors inventory, and maintains cleanliness of the shop
Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Completion of two (2) years of high school
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of golf industry experience
Experience with cash handling and point of sale systems
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license
