The

Strategic Client Events & Regional Marketing Specialist (Charlotte)

is a hands-on, client-facing role that blends business development, marketing, and events strategy to support the firm’s Charlotte office. Partnering closely with practice, industry, and office leadership, this position is responsible for executing high-impact initiatives that increase market visibility, strengthen client relationships, and generate revenue opportunities.

This role manages a high volume of client-facing programs and events, oversees Charlotte office marketing collateral and content, tracks budgets and ROI, and ensures strategic follow-up to convert engagement into meaningful opportunities. The Specialist serves as a key connector between local stakeholders and the firm’s centralized Marketing Communications, IT, Finance, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and manage a robust calendar of client-facing programs and strategic events aligned with business development goals

Partner with attorneys, practice leaders, and the Charlotte Office Managing Partner (OMP) to develop and deliver regional marketing initiatives

Manage and maintain Charlotte office collateral and localized marketing content

Track budgets, analyze ROI, and report on the effectiveness of assigned marketing and events initiatives

Coordinate and execute strategic post-event follow-up to drive client engagement and new opportunities

Serve as a liaison between the Charlotte office and centralized firm teams, including Marketing Communications, IT, Finance, and Operations

Support broader regional and firmwide marketing and business development objectives as needed

Basic Qualifications Important Note:

Minimum

4+ years of experience in business development, marketing, and/or events within a law firm

Proven experience managing client-facing programs and events in a professional services environment

Ability to work onsite in the Charlotte office

3–4 days per week

Must live within a commutable distance to the Charlotte office

Hotel or conference services experience is a plus
