Job Overview We are currently looking to hire a Sr. Internal Relationship Manager within the IAS Success Management team.

The Business Consulting team is responsible for advisor satisfaction, growth, and retention of LPL top advisors and offices. The Sr. Internal Relationship Manager will manage a territory of LPL Financial advisors and branch offices, focusing on growing and retaining advisor relationships using proven sales strategies and consulting advisors on the value, benefits, and features of LPL’s platform.

By developing a thorough understanding of the advisor’s businesses, the Sr. Internal Relationship Manager will craft effective solutions to help them meet their business goals and objectives. This role serves as the primary point of contact between advisors and LPL Financial, combining relationship management, sales, project management, and business analytics to achieve growth, retention, and satisfaction objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop a comprehensive understanding of each advisor, their business objectives, and their broader impact on the organization.

Serve as a representative of Business Consulting across multiple internal and external forums throughout the year.

Participate in cross‑functional committees, contributing thoughtful insights and business rationale to support decision‑making.

Create and deliver business‑focused presentations for advisor conferences and for use by Relationship Managers.

Demonstrate strong leadership and adaptability amid shifting priorities.

Design and implement effective frameworks to manage organizational and strategic change.

Present complex topics across multiple functions, articulating different perspectives to drive informed decisions.

Engage in high‑level strategic conversations with advisors and executive leadership.

Collaborate with internal and external partners to conduct thorough needs assessments.

Coordinate people, processes, and best practices across multiple business units to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.

5+ years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably in a sales or progressive client service/relationship management role.

Core Competencies

Ability to effectively analyze situations and apply solutions to achieve resolution.

Ability to identify and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.

Strong oral and written communication skills, inspiring action and driving performance within area of accountability.

Preferences

Series 7 and 63 licenses.

Extensive knowledge of the client segment, organization, product, industry, and end customer.

Demonstrated knowledge of LPL platform, products and services.

Ability to translate high level business directives into operational procedures.

Participation on project teams providing the advisor point of view and making judgments and recommendations regarding timing, content, and delivery methodologies.

Budget and expense management of territory.

Pay Range $84,700–$141,100/year. Actual base salary varies based on factors including relevant skill, prior experience, education, internal peer base, performance, and geographic location.
