Job Description The Marketing & Social Media Specialist supports digital growth and brand awareness across multiple senior living communities (15–20 brands) and the LCS corporate brand Facebook and Instagram management. This role focuses on social media strategy, content execution, video storytelling, and online engagement, helping showcase the lifestyle, people, and experiences that define each community.

What You’ll Do Social Media Management

Plan and execute social media content calendars across platforms

Create engaging posts aligned with brand voice and community messaging

Capture and edit photo/video content highlighting resident life, team culture, events, and stories

Coordinate with community teams to gather content and approvals

Monitor comments, messages, and engagement trends

Stay current on social media best practices and emerging trends

Support occasional paid social campaigns in partnership with agencies or leadership

Community Content Coordination

Establish simple processes for communities to submit stories, photos, and updates

Attend periodic calls or meetings to encourage participation

Ensure consistent representation across brands

Analytics & Optimization

Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth)

Provide insights to improve content effectiveness

Help maintain benchmarks and KPIs

Support blog promotion and distribution on social channels

Assist with updating online listings and reputation monitoring as needed

Provide backup support for content creation during peak periods

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication or Business-related field, or equivalent years of experience required

2 - 4 years of direct social media or marketing management

Experience with video editing tools

Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

Time management, attention to detail, highly developed organizational skills, follow up and multi-tasking skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong focus on customer service

Analytical skills for use in evaluating metrics and data related to performance of marketing efforts

Experience managing social media crises and protecting brand reputation

Proficiency in Office 365

Excellent project management skills

Additional Information Travel frequency: 25-50%

Estimated Salary: $57,000 - $71,000
