About the Job
We’re hiring a Sales Designer to work directly with customers in our showroom and at project sites (new construction and remodeling). This person owns the project from the first conversation through signed contract: understand what the client wants design the space price it accurately win the job What You’ll Do:
Meet with customers in the showroom and jobsite and guide them through their project Design kitchens, bathrooms, and related spaces Take accurate field measurements and translate into buildable plans Create quotes and review pricing with customers Close projects and move them into production Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff Manage your pipeline of leads, proposals, and active projects What we’re looking for:
Experience in
kitchen design, cabinetry, or building materials sales Comfortable working directly with customers and guiding decisions Strong attention to detail (measurements, plans, order accuracy) Able to balance
design, numbers, and feasibility Basic understanding of construction drawings, layouts, or takeoffs Design software experience (2020, ProKitchen, etc.) is helpful but not required What Success Looks Like:
Projects are designed accurately and sold profitably Customers have a smooth, professional experience Orders are clean, complete, and ready for execution You consistently move projects from inquiry → design → signed contract Additional Notes:
Work includes showroom time, job site visits, and customer meetings at the showroom This is a hands‑on role that requires both creative thinking and precision You’ll work closely with the Sales Manager and operations team Base + commission:
$43,000-$75,000 expected first year Uncapped, competitive, above market commission earned on projects sold, top performers making $100,000+/year two and beyond
