
Media Planner

Our client, a leading global brand, is hiring a Strategic Media Planning Specialist to support integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
This is a strategy-forward role for someone who enjoys owning media planning end-to-end, from audience development and channel strategy through execution and performance analysis, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
This is a hybrid role in NYC or Culver City, CA.
What you’ll be doing
Lead integrated media strategy across full-funnel campaigns (digital, social, OOH, TV)
Build and refine audience profiles using data, insights, and research tools
Develop channel strategies aligned to both performance and brand KPIs
Partner with internal and external media teams to bring campaigns from concept through execution
Analyze campaign performance and translate results into clear insights and recommendations
Create and present media briefs, plans, and performance updates to stakeholders
Collaborate closely with social and creative teams, including support across owned and earned channels (creators, content, etc.)
Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, advising on budget allocation, messaging, and overall media approach
What we’re looking for
5+ years of media planning / strategy experience (agency experience strongly preferred)
Strong background in integrated media planning across digital, social, and traditional channels
Experience owning campaigns from concept through execution
Ability to translate data into actionable insights and clear communication plans
Comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple workstreams
Strong communication and presentation skills
Nice to have
Experience in gaming, entertainment, or streaming
Familiarity with tools like MRI/Simmons, comScore, or social listening platforms
Background in comms planning or audience strategy
Logistics
Hours:
40 hours per week
Location:
Hybrid (NYC or Culver City)
Duration:
6-month contract with strong potential to extend
Interview Process:
2 rounds
Pay Rate: NYC: $61.16/hour & Culver City: $57.00/hour
Compensation for this position will be determined based on several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role; market labor costs; the candidate’s skills, education, training, credentials, and experience; and other employment conditions. Full-time consultants are eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) contributions, along with any PTO, sick leave, or other benefits required by applicable state or local laws where you reside or work.
