
Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator reports to the Marketing Manager with responsibility to the Marketing team.
Job Status: Part Time, paid position
Responsibilities
Social Media Management
Plan and execute monthly social media calendars, including creating posts with content and copy for approvals Maintain and update platforms as needed (profile pictures, bios, linktree, etc) Schedule approved posts and posts in real-time as needed Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages Engage with other accounts through liking, commenting, and sharing Managing multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) Content Management & Creation
Collect content from staff and organize in Dropbox or other systems Brainstorm and develop new content ideas with the Marketing Manager Assist in designing graphics, flyers, and other promotional materials Basic photography and video support for social media content Marketing & Communication Support
Assist with drafting emails on an as needed basis Monitor and respond to online reviews on platforms such as Google and Yelp for both locations Event Support
Travel as needed to support marketing at JBJ Soul Kitchens events Assist with event management, including coverage of new menus, events, and activities at JBJ Soul Kitchen locations Support other digital marketing initiatives as needed Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in social media management or marketing coordination Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok Must be located in either Ocean or Monmouth County Ability to create and manage basic Facebook and Instagram Ads Interest and experience in copywriting and content creation Knowledge of Canva and basic graphic design skills Photography and video skills a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Schedule
Part-time, flexible hours with occasional weekend or event coverage
