Job Summary Supports the development, launch, and lifecycle management of Lottery products, with primary responsibility for Draw Game product marketing and secondary support for Scratch Off products. Works collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure lottery products are developed, marketed, and supported in alignment with Lottery goals, brand standards, and responsible play principles.
Primary Duties
Serve as main marketing support for Draw Game products, including product concepts, themes, pricing, and play styles, coordinating with Product, Sales, Finance, and vendor partners.
Provide marketing support for Scratch Off products as needed, including participation in product development, planning, and launch activities.
Assist with product planning, timelines, approvals, and launch execution for new and existing lottery games.
Coordinate artwork reviews, prize structures, game specifications, and marketing materials related to Draw Game and Scratch Off products.
Support product launches by developing promotional strategies, messaging, and point-of-sale materials.
Monitor product performance and assist with reporting, analysis, and recommendations to support product enhancements and future game development.
Ensure all product-related marketing activities comply with Lottery policies, procedures, and responsible gaming standards.
Backup and Cross-Functional Duties
Provide backup support for other Lottery Marketing functions as needed (promotions, advertising, events, sponsorships, retailer marketing initiatives).
Assist with promotion event setup, execution, and breakdown.
Assist with campaign execution across traditional, digital, and in-store marketing channels.
Support retailer communications during peak sales periods and special promotions.
Participate in marketing events, promotions, and outreach activities as assigned.
Additional Duties
Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing and product initiatives.
Assist with administrative tasks such as project tracking, documentation maintenance, and preparation of reports or presentations.
Perform other duties as assigned to support overall goals of the Lottery Marketing Department.
Travel Requirements Some travel is required for meetings, training, retailer visits, promotional events, and conferences, including occasional evening or weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
Training:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
OR Substitution:
Full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience may substitute for the required training at the rate of one (1) year of experience for every thirty (30) semester hours of training.
Experience:
Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in statistics, mathematics, public relations, journalism, communications, advertising, marketing, sales or related field.
OR Substitution:
Graduate coursework from an accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience at the rate of fifteen (15) semester hours of training for every one (1) year of experience.
Special Requirement:
A valid driver's license is required. Background check, credit investigation, and security clearance are required for employment.
