Overview Our client is a public transportation organization focused on improving mobility and digital engagement for the communities it serves. The organization is looking for a Digital Data Analyst on a contract basis who will own the full lifecycle of digital analytics—from implementing tracking and managing analytics platforms to analyzing performance data and presenting strategic recommendations. The role involves working closely with marketing, digital, and business stakeholders to translate complex data into clear narratives that help guide digital strategy and improve customer engagement across websites, apps, and campaigns.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in digital/web analytics (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, HTML, etc.)
3+ years of experience querying relational databases (SQL, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
3+ years of experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Python, or R
2+ years of experience building dashboards and reports using tools like Looker or Power BI
1+ year of experience facilitating meetings and presenting analytical insights to stakeholders
Experience implementing and managing tracking tags, conversions, and analytics configurations
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience configuring Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
Familiarity with digital tracking methods such as events, cookies, and pixels
Experience working with digital platform analytics including websites, apps, social media, or marketing campaigns
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript in a digital analytics context
Experience performing data validation and quality checks
Strong data storytelling and visualization skills
Daily Responsibilities
Analyze data from digital platforms including websites, social media, apps, and campaigns to identify trends and insights
Configure and manage analytics tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager
Implement and maintain tracking tags for marketing campaigns and user experience events
Build interactive dashboards and reports for business stakeholders
Collect, clean, and analyze data to support business and marketing decisions
Translate analytical findings into clear visualizations and data-driven narratives
Lead business review meetings with stakeholders to present insights and recommend strategic actions
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance across analytics platforms
Document processes, data definitions, and reporting requirements
