
Packaging Lead

Position Summary
The Packaging Lead role is an on-the-floor leadership position who will report to our Head of Production and Quality. The Packaging Lead will be responsible for the overall daily execution of canning, bottling, pasteurizing, and kegging all of our beer. All the while championing constant improvement of our quality, processes, and people.
About Us Reuben's Brews is a family brewery that opened in 2012. We brew from the glass backwards: designing each beer with intention, unbound by constraints. We know making the extra effort is worth it. We are the most decorated brewery in Washington, have two brewhouses, two tasting rooms, and two private event spaces, and we distribute our beer predominantly in the Pacific Northwest. In 2025 we brewed 23,000 BBLs.
The Role
Leading packaging operations
Provide direction to the team to ensure the packaging plan is completed
Be an on the floor resource to help accomplish production as needed
Train staff on SOPs and maintain accountability for the completion of these procedures
Packaging equipment maintenance – understand and plan packaging specific maintenance, conduct maintenance as necessary
Be a troubleshooting resource for packaging tasks and equipment
Coordinate with other production managers to build, guide and execute planning
EKOS (ERP) management and processing
The Successful Candidate Will Have
2+ years related experience required, 5+ years preferred
Strong people management skills and leadership experience with a proven track record of helping elevate a team
Related degree or professional qualification would be highly beneficial
An interest in the beer industry, including a strong knowledge of Reuben’s
Understanding of ERP systems, ability to process data in them
Physical demands include but are not limited to: Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; often lift or move full 1/2BBL kegs.
