We are seeking an experienced
Produce Manager
to lead our produce department. This role is responsible for overseeing produce operations including
inventory management, vendor ordering, product quality, merchandising displays, and team supervision.
We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of
fresh produce handling, department organization, and visual merchandising
who can help maintain a high-quality produce department while delivering excellent customer service.
Bilingual
Spanish / English
candidates are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of the
produce department
Order produce from vendors and manage supplier relationships
Monitor
inventory levels, shrink control, and product rotation
Maintain freshness and quality standards for all produce items
Build attractive
produce displays and merchandising tables
Supervise and train produce department staff
Ensure compliance with
food safety and health regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked produce department
Support store management with staffing and scheduling
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of
produce ordering, inventory control, and merchandising
Experience managing or supervising staff in a grocery or produce environment
Ability to work in a
fast-paced retail environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
