Job Description:
Eskola, LLC's Lexington, Kentucky branch is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team! The Service Foreman is responsible for overseeing and directing the daily activities of our commercial roofing service teams. This role ensures that maintenance, repair, and service operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive roofing experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence and safety.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Team Supervision:
Direct and supervise roofing service teams on job sites, ensuring effective communication and coordinated efforts.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members to enhance skill development and operational efficiency.
Project Coordination:
Schedule, plan, and coordinate service and maintenance activities for commercial roofing systems.
Oversee the execution of service calls, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on roofing repairs and maintenance work to ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols.
Identify potential issues and implement corrective measures promptly to maintain service quality.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies on all job sites.
Lead weekly safety meetings and provide ongoing safety training to the service team.
Inspect all safety equipment and PPE before use each day.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during service operations, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns effectively.
Resource Management:
Manage inventory and procurement of roofing materials, tools, and equipment necessary for service operations.
Ensure optimal use of resources while maintaining cost‑effectiveness.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of service activities, including work performed, materials used, and any incidents or deviations from standard practices.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of Foreman / Supervisory experience in commercial roofing, with a strong background in service, repair, or maintenance operations.
Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and industry specifications.
Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience managing customer expectations.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
Comprehensive knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
Must be able to successfully complete a pre‑employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a dependable personal vehicle to travel to job sites as required.
Must be comfortable working at heights and capable of safely using ladders and other elevated access equipment.
Primarily outdoor work on commercial job sites, with occasional office‑based tasks.
Exposure to varying weather conditions and physically demanding work environments.
May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
Above average knowledge of commercial roofing software (e.g., DataForma)
OSHA 10‑hour or 30‑hour card
Aerial Man Lift and/or Forklift certification
First Aid, CPR & AED certification
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred
