Worldwide “KATOEN NATIE” combines engineering as well as the latest technologies to offer customized client oriented logistical solutions. These solutions are provided to a large variety of big and small companies, active in a large range of sectors or industries. The Business Unit (BU) Consumer Goods manages the complete supply chain flow from several Business Lines like Textiles, DIY products, Pharmaceuticals, Sporting Goods, Aftermarket logistics and E-commerce. KATOEN NATIE has several sites in 40 countries in Europe, North America, South America and the Far East and has more than 18.000 people active in operational, staff and management functions.

For a period of two years or less, the High Potential will follow an intensive and varied program involving the complete supply chain flow of goods distribution from several business lines such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, sporting goods, and e-commerce. Within this program, participants will have a unique opportunity to participate in multiple projects while networking with colleagues from around the world. As Katoen Natie is a global logistics provider, with presence in 40 different countries within 5 different continents, our vast opportunities within our industry are endless. This program is characterized by operational assignments in various fields of logistic activities such as inbound and outbound shipments, picking, stocking, packing, and value-added services. After an introductory period, the High Potential will be assigned a key position within the Consumer Goods Business Unit.

Tasks & responsibilities

Perform various tasks in assistance or support of the KTN-organization.

Manage a team, plan, and organize the team effectively.

Solve practical problems, interpret instructions, deal with a variety of variables.

Complete administration paperwork relevant to your area including but not limited to payroll, planning, and any other paperwork as assigned.

Complete and monitor key point indicators (KPI’s) for assigned department.

Complete required department reports on time as required by upper management.

Analyze performance of team, propose, and implement improvements.

Determine the training needs of your team, coordinating and assisting with implementation.

Able to motivate and encourage your team making suggestions and ideas for improvements.

Perform audits to check the quality and safety of your team.

Participate in company meetings.

Must possess the skills to provide quality customer service including the ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner within diversified situations.

Your profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Professional English. Other languages are a plus

Ability to work flexible working hours
