Position Overview We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth and retail excellence across New England. You will manage distributor relationships and drive new business for our leading multicultural beverage portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development: Drive account acquisition across supermarkets, C/G chains, and multicultural retailers. Expand SKU distribution and secure new authorizations.
Distributor Management: Lead DSD partners and brokers; hold them accountable for KPIs regarding shelf placement and display execution through regular ride‑alongs.
Retail Execution: Execute high‑impact programs (floor displays, pallet programs) and ensure best‑in‑class merchandising.
Strategic Field Intelligence: Monitor field opportunities and gaps. Collaborate with the Analyst team by reporting field trends to drive data‑backed territory improvements.
Brand Synergy: Work with Marketing to strengthen brand awareness in key demographic markets.
KPIs
Distribution growth (New accounts & SKUs)
Sales volume and promotional compliance
Distributor performance and accountability
Position Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in beverage/CPG sales with a proven track record in distribution expansion.
Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the MA, CT, and RI retail landscape; willingness to travel extensively.
Skills: "Hunter" mentality, strong negotiator, and data‑driven organizer.
Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) and experience with import/multicultural brands.
