Corporate Security Specialist - Asset Protection - Decatur, IL
This role is responsible for executing key Asset Protection strategies and duties across ADM's North American footprint. The ideal candidate will be eager to deploy a methodological, governance driven approach to improving the overall security environment at ADM locations. Specifically we seek to improve aggregate outcomes through the deployment of security infrastructure, technology and policy driven initiatives. The position requires operational execution, and collaboration with third-party security providers to protect company resources while supporting business continuity. This role will be based in Decatur, Illinois and will report to Corporate Security management in the region. Key Responsibilities
Conduct site security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and threat evaluations. Coordinate and advise facility managers on strategic plans that enhance security outcomes, reduce shrinkage, and increase awareness Support implementation of corporate security standards and regulatory requirements. Execute security related regulatory programs (MTSA, CFATS, C-TPAT) Provide security guidance and valuation estimates for Mergers & Acquisitions in NA Monitor crime trends and emerging risks impacting the business footprint. Support emergency preparedness, drills, and crisis response initiatives. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services. Provide on-site response leadership during security-related incidents. Develop and deliver asset protection and security awareness training. Research and integrate cutting edge security technology across the ADM enterprise. Travel within the ADM footprint approximately 25%. Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years in corporate security, asset protection, investigations, law enforcement, or military. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Understanding of physical security systems including CCTV, alarm systems, perimeter controls, and access control systems. Ability to work in industrial environments (walking, climbing, and physical mobility required). Valid driver's license and ability to travel on short notice. Preferred
CPP, CFE, PCI, or similar professional certification. Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or Fortune 100 environments. Knowledge of workplace violence frameworks and insider threat methodologies. Familiarity with regional crime trends and emergency response networks.
