Social Media Specialist / Content Marketing Manager

Salary:

$80K and $160K base + equity + bonus

AI Workspace for the insurance industry , enabling underwriters, brokers, and carriers to automate repetitive operational work so they can focus on higher-value decisions.

speed, clarity, and high standards , and is focused on helping modernize one of the world’s most important industries through AI. As the company continues to scale, they are looking for someone to

own and grow their social media presence from the ground up .

The Role Our client is looking for a

Social Media Specialist / Content Marketing Manager

to take full ownership of the company’s social media presence.

You will work directly with the

Marketing Lead and founders , owning the

entire social media process end-to-end

— from strategy and content creation to publishing, engagement, and performance analysis.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in

early-stage startups , enjoys

telling compelling stories about complex technology , and wants to

build a brand voice from the ground up .

Responsibilities

Own and manage the company’s

social media presence across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and other key channels

Plan, create, schedule, and publish

consistent content aligned with the company’s brand voice

Develop and execute the

end-to-end social media strategy

Collaborate with the Marketing Lead and founders on

product launches, campaigns, and thought leadership

Produce and edit

short-form video content , including YouTube Shorts

Engage with the community through

comments, DMs, and discussions

Monitor social media performance and

optimize content using analytics

Research competitors and industry trends to maintain differentiated messaging

Support marketing initiatives including

paid campaigns and content distribution

Generate creative ideas for

new content formats, storytelling approaches, and campaign hooks

Requirements Experience

3+ years owning social media strategy end-to-end

for a technology company

Experience working at a

VC-backed startup (Seed to Series C stage)

Experience marketing into the

insurance industry

is highly preferred

Demonstrated success

growing and managing social channels

Skills

Expert in

LinkedIn and X content strategy and creation

Strong writing and storytelling ability

Proficient with

design tools such as Canva

Experience creating

short-form video and visual content

Strong analytical mindset with experience using performance metrics to guide content decisions

Familiarity with

AI tools for marketing workflows

Education Soft Skills

High-energy, motivated, and ambitious

Comfortable operating in

fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality

Able to

translate complex topics into simple, engaging content

Additional Requirements

Must provide a

portfolio showcasing previous work , including live social content and case studies

Must be

based in San Francisco or able to work onsite

recent graduates with no full-time experience
