The Levy Group designs, manufactures, imports, markets, and distributes outerwear, swimwear, dresses, activewear, men’s tailored clothing, and sportswear. Responsibilities:
Work closely with VP of Design through all phases of line creation and execution
Research, shopping and stay up to date with current fashion trends, fabrications, innovations and colors.
Create detailed sketches, manipulate prints, Create CADs and BOM for new development
Create production Tech Packs
Daily communication with factories to ensure accurate and on‑time sample development
Review and approve items such as, strike offs, lab dips, fabric swatches, protos.
Create CAD/Proto Line sheets and color cards for showroom and specific customers.
Attend fit sessions‑understand basic measurements and specing
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in apparel industry.
High Proficiency in Photoshop, and Illustrator,
Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, Blue Cherry/PLM
Strong fashion, color and print sense
Ability to create basic and manipulate colors in existing graphics.
Detailed and organized
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
