Service Writer

We are looking for a focused, self-managed candidate with exceptional organizational skills. As a Service Writer, you will use your exceptional written and verbal communication skills to understand our customers' problems and explain their needs to our technicians and staff. Responsibilities:
Initiating services and repairs by describing performance problems and service requests. Reviewing customer accounts and reporting changes to internal staff. Verifying warranty coverage, writing repair orders, and maintaining customer accounts. Serving as a liaison between the customers and technicians, ensuring technicians understand the customer's needs and the requested/recommended service/repairs are understood by our customers. Inspecting the units with our customers, verifying unit information, obtaining photos, and communicating any additional repair and service needs to the customer based on inspections. Scheduling appointments, inputting repair orders (ROs), monitoring service progress, calculating charges, and processing payments. Keeping customers informed of service specials, completion times, and service expenses. Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls. Must be able to demonstrate patience, emotional resilience, and the ability to stay courteous and collected under pressure. Other duties as needed. Skills/Qualifications
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service. Must have good communication and problem-solving skills. Be able to multitask in a fast-moving environment. Good understanding of mechanical/technical knowledge. Acceptable driving record. Driver's license (Required). Experience/Education
3+ Years Previous Service Writer experience preferred. 2 Years of Previous Writer experience is required. High School diploma or equivalent required. Job Type: Full-Time; Hourly; 40 hrs./wk.
